Kawai XD-5

The Kawai XD-5 is a digital percussion synthesizer based on the same engine as the Kawai K4r synthesizer, but with ROM samples more suited toward percussion work. It uses 16-bit 44.1 KHz digital samples and has 256 waveforms to choose from when building drum sounds.
Version 1.0 had a SysEx bug that would mute the oscillators. This can be cleared by performing a factory reset: With the unit off, hold [SYSTEM] and [PREV], and turn on the POWER. This bug is fixed in versions 1.1 and 1.2 of the ROM.
